Until Dawn in Pop Culture.

[edit]

Arguably, Until Dawn is one of the most well known and accurate depictions of the Wendigo in pop culture. I feel like it should be mentioned. BIade001 (talk) 18:27, 25 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, why not? Feel free to add it, especially if you have an independent reliable source that shows the connection and its relevance. Gawaon (talk) 10:42, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I added a small section mentioning the game and its critical reception, since it did stir up some controversy when it first released. Struggling to find a reputable source to speak to its lasting cultural relevancy, so I kept it brief for now. Beckbucket (talk) 13:31, 25 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

citation 3 does not support the section its cited on

[edit]

citation 3 is an article comparing fossil fuel companies poisoning the land to the wendigo's cannibalism and gluttony. it does not make any argument supporting the idea of wendigo-related psychosis, its simply a metaphorical critique Thecloudking (talk) 00:45, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The article characterizes "Windigo Psychosis" (sic) as "an insatiable craving for everything in their sight". I agree it's not the best source, but it seems to qualify somewhat. Gawaon (talk) 03:22, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
